That’s why we’ve showcased 50 of Hawaii’s master artists in our latest book, Aloha Expressionism by Contemporary Hawaii Artists. But this is about more than a book. This is about increasing awareness for Hawaiʻi as an arts destination, documenting the inspirational stories of artists, and expanding the joyous impact our arts community has on the rest of the world.

We created a major art exhibit as part of the 5th Annual Hawaii Food & Wine Festival (HFWF), on September 12. 2105 and the funds raised support local agriculture and culinary organizations in our state. This exhibit opportunity was only open to artists in our book and was another major step in showcasing Hawaii for the amazing, rich, and diverse arts destination it truly is–a total win/win/win.

The exhibit was seen by 1,200 people attending the Corks & Forks event on the roof of the Hawaii Convention Center. Amazing opportunity for the arts!

Mahalo to our sponsors!
Building museum-like displays, lighting, inter-island shipping, art transportation, unpacking, setting up, taking down, shipping sold works, etc. is a whole lot of work, time, and money. But our sponsors imagined the positive impact for our community![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
